Chelsea is once again preparing itself for a night under the stars, as the West London Churches Homeless Concern challenges residents of the Royal Borough to sleep rough to raise money for the local charity.
Following the success of last year’s Sleep Out event, where it was shortlisted for recognition as ‘the best use of event fundraising conducted by any charity’, this year’s participants are encouraged to once again sleep rough for sponsorship to help London’s homeless.
WLCHC aims to give home, shelter and to inspire people to really make a difference. With an overall fund target of £125,000 the event is looking to guarantee 70 rough sleepers a safe and warm haven during the coldest months of the year.
