Duke of York Square is excited to launch its first public photography competition. Whether you’re a snap happy iPhone addict or a budding SLR enthusiast, our Celebrate Summer competition welcomes entrants of all ages who are invited to share their shots of what they best feel encapsulates summer in Chelsea.
To improve your winning chances we will be holding a photography workshop in our pop up Gallery at No34 Duke of York Square. Visit on Saturday 27th July, 11am – 1.30pm to get the latest tips from a professional. No appointment is necessary, simply turn up!
Entries can be submitted online via the Duke of York Square website or on Twitter at DOYSQ, and the winners in each of the eight categories will be displayed in the renowned Gallery Mess restaurant, the exclusive Saatchi Gallery eatery. A grand prize of a Canon EOS 1100 Digital SLR Camera is also up for grabs as well as a £200 shopping spree. From nature on the Square, to a dog lapping up the rays, we want to see it all!
The competition is taking place between the 5th July and 11th August with lots more photography activity taking place in the square throughout, so grab your camera and get down there.
In line with government guidelines, our shops and restaurants remain open only for essential retail, virtual shopping appointments, takeaway food and click and collect services.
But our Christmas lights are sparkling, the Fine Food market will continue to take place on the running track each Saturday (with full safety measures in place) and many of our restaurants will deliver their delicious food to the comfort of your home.
