Mother’s Day (Sunday 6th March) is just around the corner, but there’s still time to pop to the Square if you still haven’t found the perfect present.
How about a personalised gift from one of our jewellers? This could be from the range at Links of London, such as the limited edition 2016 Mother’s Day Rose Charm in Sterling Silver and 18kt Rose Gold Vermeil. There will be a consultant on hand to help you choose the right present if you wish. Monica Vinader is also offering personalised pieces for Mother’s Day, so why not add a meaningful message or hand drawn sketch to some jewellery for a unique touch?
If you’re after some gorgeous blooms, Jacques Flower Shop has a stunning selection which mum will love. Spring is in the air so take your pick from colourful daffodils, delicate peonies and fresh roses – a member of the flower team can help you pick the perfect bunch if you’d like some advice.
If your mother loves to feel pampered, then a gift from Ortigia, such as a luxurious bath oil with Sicilian jasmine, could be perfect for her. Alternatively, there is an assorted candle box with scents including zagara (orange blossom), or a ‘casa’ gift box containing a diffuser and room essence, perfect for mums who enjoy relaxing at home.
Still unsure about what to buy? If your mum is a self-confessed foodie, then head to Partridges, renowned for its wide choice of produce. This year we can recommend the Partridges own brand Fudge with a hint of rose or Almond and Rose Butter Biscuits, or the Rose Pouchong loose tea for something original and fragrant.
Alternatively, the Mother’s Day Hamper at Comptoir Libanais could be a good choice. It contains luxurious Mymoune rose syrup, sugared almonds, Turkish delight, halva pistachio and nougat. Delicious!
