Chelsea locals are well acquainted with the weekly food forum that takes place every Saturday at Duke of York Square. Experts offer up their finest goods to shoppers – a plethora of edible ecstasies, including cakes, chartucerie, fresh fish, sweet treats and much more.
Newcomers to the Partridges Market this month include Cutter &Squidge; who can be found inside the Partridges store between the Saturday Market hours of 10am and 4pm. Cutter &Squidge make their handmade “Biskies” from scratch. Biskies are a deliciously moreish hybrid of crisp, buttery biscuits and soft, chewy, melty cookies filled with light, fluffy buttercreams. Luca Picco will also be showcasing his own-made salamis, which can be teamed with chutney from Rubies in the Rubble. Inspiration is not simply British – Yellow Sunshine, a firm market resident, will be shouting about its dried fruits in a variety of flavours, and Simply Handmade will be happy to hand over the perfect Easter celebratory chocolate for those who have resisted throughout Lent.
