Summer has arrived to Chelsea and the Duke of York Square shopping area is calling on all photography enthusiasts to mark the season by entering our first ‘Celebrate Summer’ photography competition.
From 5th July – 11th August, visitors to the exclusive shopping area are invited to capture an image that best encapsulates summer. The selected winning images will be framed and displayed in Gallery Mess, part of the world-renowned Saatchi Gallery.
Summer in Duke of York Square is a scene of both tranquillity and vibrancy, a place where people come together to enjoy shopping, restaurants and culture amongst stunning architecture, landscaping and water features.
It is a place that captures the very best moments of summer city life, now you have the opportunity to capture these moments with our first ever photographic competition.
Simply take a few moments out to capture an image of summer at Duke of York Square and enter it into our competition. Images can be captured on film, digital camera or with a mobile device. There are ten different categories in which to enter, from ‘best composition’ to ‘best smart phone image’.
The best overall image will win a Canon EOS 1100D Digital SLR Camera with the second prize being a £200 Duke of York Square voucher, and a £100 for third prize.
With eleven categories to enter including ‘Best Composition’ and ‘Greatest Smartphone Entry’ there is plenty of opportunity for submissions to gain recognition and win fantastic prizes – and you don’t need to be a professional photographer.
A panel of expert judges including Nigel Hurst, CEO of the Saatchi Gallery, will select one entrant to win a Canon EOS 1100D Digital SLR Camera.
