We love Maria Rivans’ exquisite creations featuring intricate, humorous and eye-popping surreal Landscape, Portrait and 3D collages drawing on imagery from 20th and 21st century popular culture.
A UK artist living and working in Brighton she draws inspiration from philosophical teachings, cultural references such as vintage Hollywood films, Hitchcock and the sci-fi TV films and shows she watched as a child.
Her aesthetically beautiful images can be stared at all day, containing enough thought provoking material to keep you cerebrally engaged.
