Paddington pandemonium – preview tickets and marmalade martinis!

A huge welcome to ‘Paws’ – our Paddington at Duke of York Square. The capital’s best-loved bear, Paddington, has taken up residence in the Square as part of an exciting adventure on The Paddington Trail; a major initiative across London this Christmas in association with the NSPCC, Visitlondon.com and STUDIOCANAL in celebration of the release of the Paddington film on 28th November.

To celebrate Paws we are offering the chance for 2 lucky newsletter subscribers to each win a pair of tickets to a preview screening on Sunday, 23rd November, in central London. To enter the prize draw simply email contact@dukeofyorksquare.com and enter ‘Paddington Preview tickets’ in the subject line. Winners will be randomly selected and will be notified on Thursday 20th November. (Terms & Conditions available on request.)

‘Paws’ was designed by Sally Hawkins, renowned British actress and star of the upcoming film Paddington, and he features a variety of multi-coloured children’s handprints. He joins a collection of 49 other beautiful and unique life-size Paddington statues which have been given stylish makeovers by a host of international celebrities, designers and artists. The statues have been placed in famous landmark locations across London.

Paws will remain in Duke of York Square for all to see until 30 December 2014 after which time he, alongside all of his friends will be auctioned by Christies to raise vital funds for the NSPCC and it’s Childline services.
