"A day in the life" exhibition

If you’re planning on visiting our Saturday Fine Food Market, there’s an added treat in store for photography lovers and Chelsea locals of all ages.

BAFTA and multi-award winning artist Alison Jackson is hosting this year’s photography competition, “A Day in the Life” celebrating how Chelsea locals have lived during lockdown. With categories for all ages and all skills accepted, entries are open until the end of September with the only requirement being that you live in Chelsea. A huge array of fantastic prizes are up for grabs, including new cameras, prize money, memberships to the Royal Photographic Society and exclusive masterclasses with Alison Jackson herself. Enter your image of lockdown-life here.

On Saturdays 19th and 26th September, highlights from the 2019 competition will be on display on the running track. You can find this year’s winners on display on Saturday 3rd and 10th October; from creative working-from-home set-ups, Chelsea work-outs or adorations to Zoom, which will be your favourite?
