Pick your perfect summer shoes. Laura Bailey’s great collection for LK Bennett has been designed “… to dance on London pavements or Capri sands”. Whilst Zara’s tan coloured wedges will go with nearly anything this summer. Another favourite are Franchetti Bond’s woven ballerina pumps – comfortable, colourful and fun.
And whilst we’re on the subject of shoes, why not take a few steps down the road to the Victoria & Albert Museum (a 15 minute walk away) to see their latest exhibition? From Cinderella’s glass slipper and shoes on loan from Kylie and Lady Ga Ga, to 17th century Venetian platforms (known as ‘chopines’) journey through the world’s most extraordinary footwear and a range of emotions at the V&A’s ‘Pleasure and Pain’ exhibition.
