The start of March marks many things for us here at the Square – the beginning of Spring, (much needed!) warmer weather and of course St David’s Day – the national day of Wales.
For the very first time, we’re celebrating this special day with a gloriously tasty Fine Food Market, featuring some of the very best food and drink that Wales has to offer. On from 10am-4pm this Saturday 4 March, there will be a great range of sweet and savoury bites to enjoy.
Why not feast upon mouth-watering hot welsh lamb? It’s here at the Square courtesy of Daphne Tilley MBE, a nationally recognised producer whose meat has been served to HRH The Queen and Barack Obama.
We can’t wait to try some artisan Apple County Cider. Brought to you by the Welsh champions of the Great Taste Awards for the last two years running, enjoy your cider mulled or chilled. Delicious!
One of our favourite Cymru goodies has to be hot welsh cakes. Freshly cooked on a griddle, these are a perfect treat for enjoying over the weekend.
Don’t forget to pop into Partridges, where staff will be serving up delectable samples including Welsh cheeses and condiments for customers to try.
Our shops have reopened their doors and our restaurants are now open for indoor and alfresco dining in the spring sunshine. We want to reassure you that your safety remains paramount, measures are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit.
