Saatchi’s highly anticipated new exhibition, From Selfie to Self-Expression, explores the history of the selfie with self-portraits from classic artists including Van Gogh and Rembrandt right through to the present day. Fancy being featured alongside the greats?
The gallery and Huawei have launched a #SaatchiSelfie competition. All you have to do to enter is take a photo which aims to push this art form in an exciting new direction (Saatchi recommends being experimental and innovative) and upload to Instagram using the competition hashtag before midnight on 12 March 2017.
Your portrait will be judged by a panel of renowned artists and forward thinkers, with the ten finalists being gifted Huawei’s latest smartphone. The winner will receive a priceless photographic experience – further details to be announced by Saatchi shortly.
Why not explore the range of images already entered into the competition and join the selfie phenomenon by uploading your very own portrait? Good luck!
