Roll on 2022!

A new year is upon us and to be honest, we’re quite grateful to have left behind 2021. So, as we wish you a very happy and healthy 2022, we wanted to share why some of your favourite Duke of York Square brands and restaurants are excited for the year ahead…

“2022 is full of promise, it feels like the worst of the pandemic is behind us and I’m hoping this summer and beyond, we get to dance, express ourselves and mingle all with careless abandon, vigour and energy! And as luck would have it, we have just the right pieces in our store for you to discover, and express our newly found freedom! xx Hayley ” – Hayley Menzies

“Saatchi Gallery enters 2022 with an exciting range of thought-provoking exhibitions and special projects, starting with America in Crisis (opening 21 January), a photographic exploration of social change in the US; the world’s premiere of Bob Marley: One Love (opening 2 February); the 2022 RHS Botanical Art & Photography Prize exhibition (coming soon in April). Alongside this, a full calendar of free exhibitions of today’s most exciting emerging artists offering visitors a year of unmissable art and culture.” – Saatchi Gallery

“TASCHEN are looking forward to sharing our exciting publications with our Chelsea customers. From movies to fine art, interior design to travel inspiration, there are new titles arriving every week and we can’t wait to present them to our loyal clients… and plenty of new faces too!” Helen Turner, Brand & Retail Manager at Taschen

“At Partridges, we are really excited about 2022 and joining in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in June. It will be a memorable year for Duke of York Square, the Saturday Fine Food Market as well and especially for Partridges as we are celebrating our Golden Jubilee in May. We have a range of competitions, new products and instore initiatives that we will be launching throughout the year. Our first new product, the Chelsea Flower Gin in a Tin is already showing signs of becoming an iconic gin and tonic. Like the newly launched James Webb Telescope, watch this space…” – John Shepherd, Partridges

“Manicomio bounds into 2022 with our usual seamless enthusiasm with added emphasis on Covid-friendly al fresco elements, including heaters and blankets. As well as our ever-popular Italian favourites, we have put Veganuary centre-stage with a range of delicious vegan dishes to tempt those looking to start the year in detox mode. Highlights include Wild Mushroom Polpete, Miso Polenta and Porcini Sauce and Aubergine Steak, Citrus Lentil, Kale & Turmeric Stew.” Michael Mayhew, Manicomio

“In SS22 we are excited to launch an extended range of modern tailoring. The blurring of boundaries between loungewear and casualwear has encouraged us to ensure the blend of comfort and design run through all areas of our range. With our tailoring we hope that our blazers feel as effortless as wearing a cardigan, but still look smart enough for work. An exciting collaboration with London based designer Charlie Casely-Hayford will sit alongside new linen and cotton summer tailoring.” – David Telfer, Creative Director, Sunspel
