Spook-tacular Halloween Happenings

Happy Halloween! There’s plenty of great ghoulish ways we will be celebrating here at Duke of York Square.

One of our favourite themed events at the Square is the popular pumpkin carving competition, created by Manicomio and on from 5PM on 31 October. The restaurant’s chefs will be getting creative and competing to carve the scariest pumpkin, all judged by visitors who can enter into a prize draw to win a bottle of bubbly. We can’t wait to see the pumpkins, one of the classic features of Halloween, re-imagined in fantastical ways for a truly spooky evening.

We all remember the thrill of enjoying confectionery after a night of trick or treating as youngsters, so why not take a trip down memory lane and pop into Partridges for some of your favourite childhood sweets? The rainbow colours of Swedish Fish and Herschey’s Jolly Rancher hard candy and Twizzlers bring us back to the days of indulging in traditional trick or treating goodies. These are also perfect if you’re organising your own Halloween bash for the family at home.

If you’d like to celebrate Halloween at the Square with more tasty treats, we recommend popping into one of our restaurants for a satisfying dinner. Comptoir Libanais waiters always dress up for the event – a great way to get into the spirit of things – and Gallery Mess’ seasonal menu always includes mouth-watering Autumnal ingredients you’re bound to enjoy.
