We are excited to announce that Polpo, the award-winning Venetian restaurant, opens the doors to their new Duke of York Square venue this Monday (18 May). Polpo describe themselves as a ‘bàcaro’ – a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young local wines.
With the buzz on Duke of York Square reminiscent of the courtyard squares of Venice, Polpo will be right at home. This will be their fifth restaurant, after Beak Street (opened in September 2009), followed by Covent Garden, Smithfield and Notting Hill. Polpo has received the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand for the last five consecutive years and was awarded 2 Rosettes in the AA Guide for Culinary Excellence 2013-2014.
