We’re excited to see Europe’s biggest outdoor painting festival and competition, Pintar Rapido, returning to Chelsea from 29-30 July. Aiming to ‘capture the spirit of the city in a day’, hundreds of artists will be painting at almost every corner of London – including our very own Duke of York Square.
The weekend will kick off with Painting Day on Saturday, where artists will be here competing to create unique interpretations of the Square to help celebrate the London landscape. Make sure you visit the exhibition at the historic Chelsea Town Hall on Sunday to see the works of art on display and find out who the winners are, as well the chance to purchase your favourite pieces.
As well as supporting a range of artists, Pintar Rapido will be raising money towards the Campaign for Drawing, which aims to increase engagement with painting as a key cultural and social tool.
We can’t wait to welcome artists back to the Square for another year of Pintar Rapido. For more information visit http://www.pintarrapido.com/london/index.html
We are delighted to say Duke of York Square has now re-opened. Our first priority is to provide you with a safe and secure environment so we have reshaped your visitor experience to enable social distancing.
When entering a shop at Duke of York Square, you are required by UK law to wear a face covering from 24 July 2020 until further notice.
Thank you for your cooperation.
