This month, Partridges welcomes London-based artist and trained Lorraine Molins to fill their gallery space. An opportunity to see brilliant works by the Arts Council Award winner, and one of the original Wapping artists, who has previously exhibited across the globe in Paris and Melbourne.
Her works are influenced by scale and architecture, giving the viewer of being small against a sea of colour. She starts with inspiration from colour, whether totally abstract or suggestive of a real world, then line and space begin to play off each other to form a dramatic piece. Recent works have been inspired by landscape, buildings, weather, motorways, moving people, treas and see.
Lorraine Molins at Partridges, 11 February – 10 March 2020. Visit the website here.
