For an Italian extravaganza, head to Polpo from 22 November-24 December. They have two different menu options of delicious festive foods with a Venetian twist; think rich Beef shin arancini to start and roast potatoes with red pepper and black olives. Is your mouth watering yet?
If you are looking for something more exotic, look the other side of the Square at Comptoir Libanais. For a Lebanese and Middle Eastern Christmas feast, their menus have everything from mezze platters, tagines exploding with favour and the favourite sweet treat, baklava. Not only that, they are also offering hampers and signed cook books; the perfect gift with a twist for your foodie friends.
But – who can resist a traditional Christmas lunch? The newly renovated Galley Mess next to the Saatchi Gallery, has a festive menu that will make your tummy rumble at the sound of it. Turkey and all its trimming; obviously including pigs in blankets, and everyone’s favourite finale, Christmas pudding.
For those who are only popping in to warm up those frozen toes and grab a quick snack; the Partridge’s café is the place to go. Head inside for a Hot Chocolate and Mince Pie, or if you are after something special, a glass of fizz to celebrate the festive season.
