Dining under the summer sun

Whilst hopping over to the Med might be on hold this summer, you can still achieve holiday-feels as the Square has gone alfresco, inspired by the terraced squares of Paris and Italy, the Square.

Each restaurant now has a larger outdoor footprint for you to dine under the summer sun (or shade, should you prefer) and we have added in additional seating in the main piazza for anyone who wishes to enjoy a takeaway. If you’re dining on a Monday to Wednesday, find out who’s participating in the ‘Eat Out to Help Out‘ scheme here.

For weekend-visitors, the running track is now open to the public for social distancing picnics. Marked picnic bubbles will ensure you can picnic safely while enjoying delicious delights from the Fine Food Market which has returned, each week bringing 20 stalls offering artisanal and locally produced meat, game, fish, bread, cakes, cup-cakes and much more.

Just a stone’s throw away, Sloane Square can be found – now an outdoor restaurant and bar area, the perfect spot to spend long summer afternoons. Royal Court Theatre has created a ‘Court on the Square’, an outdoor pop-up bar and cafe, whilst Colbert has partnered with Pernod Ricard to deliver a ‘Pastis and Petanque’ themed bar and cafe. Here you can enjoy Pastis, wine and Lillet spritzers at the bar and a petanque game with friends and family.
