Christmas is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited for the return of the Square’s magical lights.
To kick off the festive season, join us from 2pm on Saturday 12 November, leading up to the spectacular lights switch-on at 5pm. As well as the return of Santa’s grotto, don’t miss our dazzling ballet dancers, sensational stilt walkers, gorgeously festive vintage singers and much more.
Keep an eye out for Santa and his friends who’ll be making quite the entrance on board a sleigh, pulled by real life reindeer and accompanied by elves. As per Duke of York Square tradition, Santa’s special helper – a local child – will help Santa turn on the Christmas lights before being the first to visit him in the Grotto.
The Grotto will officially open from 6pm to the public. Visits on this day will be on a first-come, first served basis, perfect if you haven’t managed to snap up a slot via our online booking system.
We hope you enjoy this great family day out. Why not tweet your images via our social media channels? Our Twitter handle is @DOYSQ and you can find us on Instagram via @dukeofyorksquare. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #ChelseaChristmas.
