Beat Blue Monday
It feels like Christmas has only just finished and already 16 January, aka Blue Monday, is just around the corner. Said to be the most depressing day of the year, this is when we feel most fed up with the cold, gloomy weather and dark, damp evenings. But here at the Square, we won’t be succumbing to such feelings and instead will be boosting our spirits with the perfect antidote. Why not join us and help make Blue Monday a thing of the past?
Perk up a cold winter’s morning with a tasty, warming breakfast courtesy of Comptoir Libanais. Take your pick from delicious porridge or organic yogurt with toppings including decadent fig jam, fresh pomegranate seeds, orange blossom water and much more. Or for something a little heartier, we recommend the cheese and zaatar croissant for a delicious twist on the traditional pastry.
Don’t let the rainy weather get you down. Take your mind off the rather temperamental forecast, by popping into Taschen and browsing the beautiful photography books. Encourage a sunny disposition with a colourful travel inspiration tome, such as a Great Escapes publication to invigorate your mind and possibly turn thinking to that next summer holiday…
