Whether you’re a fan of the more traditional – lemon and sugar, chocolate or maple syrup with whipped cream, or just want to be a little more adventurous, here are some inspirational crepe ideas:
Go sugar free but keep your creations deliciously indulgent with a gourmet cheese filling. Try goats cheese with red onion or mushroom, or go for emmental with ham and cheese if you want to make your pancakes the main event.
Sweetcorn and potato fritters – flip the traditional pancake on its head and try something completely different. Combine your regular ingredients with mashed potato, herbs and sweetcorn for a tasty dinner the whole family will enjoy.
Chocolate, peanut butter and banana – why not try this twist on a popular classic. Many of us enjoy a banana Nutella pancake, but why not add a spoon of peanut butter for a crunchier concoction?
American blueberry – why not indulge in gorgeous blueberry pancakes? Stir the berries into your batter and serve with maple syrup – perfect!
