A little inspiration for Mother's Day
On Sunday 31 March sons and daughters across the UK will celebrate their wonderful mothers and grandmothers. Although we think that spoiling and thanking them should be done all year round, here are some of our suggestions from the Square to show them some love on this extra special day.
Looking for that perfect gift? The Square’s stores are filled to the brim with present options for every age, style and taste. Narrowing it down was tough, but here are some of our top picks:
Scarf from LK Bennett, £75
Jacket from Joseph, £595
Slingbacks from Miista, £195
Earrings from Monica Vinader, £115
Looking to spoil her with something delicious? Whip up your finest culinary creation and deliver her breakfast in bed with something from Partridges; from perfect pancake ingredients, fresh fruit salads, maybe even served with a glass of fizz. Prefer not to do the washing up yourself? Breakfast at The Black Penny is a wonderfully indulgent option; what mother can resist Brioche French Toast with whipped lemon ricotta, black cardomman sugar, blueberry compote doused in toasted almonds and drizzled with honey. For those after their culture hit on Mother’s Day, why not visit Saatchi’s latest exhibition, Kaleidoscope and then head to Gallery Mess for a lunch or delicious champagne afternoon tea. Satisfy that sweet tooth with traditional sandwiches, warm scones with jam and clotted cream and seasonal cakes (£59.50 per person) – what a treat.
