With its doors set to open in summer, Café Linea is a new neighbourhood restaurant, bar and bakery overlooking the beautiful green at Duke of York Square. Inspired by the cafes and bistros set in historic arcades across Europe, husband-and-wife duo Greg and Felicity Godik, have reimagined the classic arcade dining experience and created this all-day dining destination, complete with one of Chelsea’s most beautiful terraces, promising unmatched views of the Square.
The menu promises modern classics and elevated comfort food, with early mornings starting with an artisanal coffee and freshly baked pastry, before inventive bar snacks, evening drinks and an exciting range of miniature cakes and patisserie take centre stage – all produced by their onsite bakery and pastry kitchen.
At its very heart, is a focus on seasonal dishes. Throughout the morning, fresh, homemade bread and a changing selection of artisanal pastries will be available, alongside savoury allumettes – filled with ham, cheese and miso – as well as banoffee bostocks, and a full breakfast and brunch menu. Later in the day, a full a la carte menu features highlights such as ricotta dumplings with mushrooms, and a sharing curried pie, created by Chef Partner, Carolina Ferpozza, originally from Argentina, who brings her South American influence to this new Chelsea kitchen.
A dynamic wine list will ensure sun-drenched evenings are best spent at Café Linea, whilst signature cocktails, lighter aperitifs and after dinner digestifs, will ensure this is the ultimate dawn ‘til dusk destination. We can’t wait to see you there!
