Give the gift of warmth with Glass Door
The days are shorter, nights longer and the temperature has dropped considerably. Whilst we are wrapped up in our on-trend teddy bear coats, sipping hot chocolate or mulled wine or even horizontal on a sofa under a blanket, there are thousands who will be sleeping on the streets this Christmas.
Duke of York Square have long supported Glass Door; in the seventh annual sleep out this year raising £220,000, who run the largest emergency winter shelter network with night shelters across Kensington & Chelsea. This winter, we are urging you to support this important charity, on a quest to raise £60,000, and give the gift of warmth this Christmas.
Shopping in Partridges? Donate jars of instant hot chocolate, coffee and vegetable soup to the Glass Door collection point – found next to the tills – which will go to those receiving much needed support at this poignant time of year.
We would also love to encourage you to participate in their #OpenADoor campaign – picturing the beautiful festive doors of Chelsea this Christmas and reminding you to think about those sleeping on the street. Share your festive front doors, tag @glassdoorlondon and include the hashtags #OpenADoor and #GlassdoorChristmas to spread their message.
