Partridges are delighted to announce the 6th World Chelsea Bun Awards will be taking place on 18 May and invite you to participate with your delicious goods.
The Awards are free to enter, only with the suggestion of a donation to their charity partner, The Children’s Surgery Foundation. This year, there are two competitions and three categories;
The Instagram Competition – Submit a photograph of your ‘Floral-themed’ creation using the hashtag #worldchelseabunawards tagging @world.chelsea.bun.awards with entries also accepted on the website. Submit images by the ‘Early entry’ deadline of 21 April to be included in the ‘Floral Feasts’ display at Partridges for Chelsea in Bloom.
The ‘Live Tasting’ Competition – Taking place at Partridges on 18 May, with entries needing to be delivered to the shop by 9.30am. There are three categories comprising Children (Under 18); Adults, and Business Professionals
This year’s judges include actress Lady Frederick Windsor (also known as Sophie Winkleman), cake expert Jane Asher, Munther Haddad, Chairman of The Foundation and a Senior Consultant Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon and John Shepherd, owner of Partridges.
Winners will be announced for the ‘Live Tasting’ Competition on 18 May at 3.30pm, with all results revealed on Instagram and the official website on Monday, 20 May.
