Festive Family Days at Saatchi

Families are invited to two fun-filled days of crafty chaos and artistic adventure at the Saatchi Gallery. Inspired by the major exhibition The Long Now and led by the Learning team, the workshops are perfect for children of all ages and for any adults secretly itching to grab a glue stick and join in the fun.

On Tuesday 23 December, little and big artists can snip, stick, and sprinkle seasonal magic by transforming well-known artworks into fabulously festive collaged gift cards. The sessions continue on Tuesday 30 December with abstract drawing techniques inspired by artist Alice Anderson, offering a playful twist on creativity.

Both workshops are free to attend, but if you’d like to add a little extra festive sparkle, a suggested £5 donation helps support Saatchi Gallery’s charitable mission to keep art open, accessible, and fun for everyone. Donations can be made online or in person at the Gallery. Book your 30-minute slot between 11am and 3pm here.
