Chinese New Year Market

Join us in celebrating Chinese New Year on 10 February from 10am – 4pm as we welcome the Year of The Dragon, symbolising good luck, health and strength.  

Duke of York Square, adorned in red lanterns, will be hosting a special Chinese-edition of the weekly Fine Food Market. Alongside traditional delicacies including irresistible bao buns, dim sum, crispy chilli beef and more from artisanal stalls, enjoy an afternoon of fabulous entertainment including traditional dragon dancers and lion performances, Chinese drummers and celebratory face painting for your little ones.

To help you plan ahead, here is the full programme of entertainment.

10am – 4pm: Lunar New Year Market

12pm – 4pm: Face Painting

12:30pm: Lion Dance

1pm: Dragon Dance

1.15pm: Lunar Stilt Walkers
