Vardo spring/summer menu

A new season and a new menu at one of your favourite restaurants, Vardo. Whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, the newest additions to their offering will ensure you keep coming back for me.

Kick start the day with breakfast at Vardo, watching the Square wake up over something delicious. Highlights include:

When something sweet is needed:

• Vanilla pancakes with vanilla cream cheese, poached strawberries, ginger and lime

• Island’s hazelnut chocolate and blood orange French toast, blood orange syrup and candied hazelnut

Or for something savoury:

• Cumberland sausage patties, fried egg, rosemary butter, sweet potato, kale, buttermilk-dill pickle ranch and crispy sage

• Fried jalapeno cornbread, avocado, curd cheese, fried egg, mojo verde, soy pumpkin seeds and chilli

But if you manage to bag yourself a table in the afternoon, and hopefully in the sun, why not give these a go:

• Crispy sesame prawn toast with XO Mayo

• Crispy sea bass, yam style salad, green mango nam phrik, peanuts, Thai herbs
