… and throughout the exhibition of Tutankhamun’s priceless treasures at the Saatchi Gallery from 2 November 2019 – 3 May 2020, Partridges will be serving a special Tutankhamun Sharing Platter of hummus, falafel and other Egyptian specialities in its cafe.
Partridges Cafe Gallery
Since September 2016, Partridges has devoted the back wall of its cafe to help local artists promote and sell their work. Once a month, except during November and December when Partridges displays its Christmas decorations, Partridges selects a local artist and mounts an exhibition free of charge to showcase their work to its customers. Artists pay just a small commission on any items sold.
In the last three years almost 30 local artists have displayed their work and some of this year’s art gallery highlights include: photographer to the stars, John Stoddart; Hilary McLaren Tipping, an Abstract Painter and Lynda Minter’s exhibition entitled Hidden London.
Partridges held its first Sculpture Exhibition in the Cafe garden in May to coincide with Chelsea in Bloom’s 2019 ‘Under the Sea’ theme and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with Jean Kegel’s, A Celebration of the Sea.
