The Saatchi Gallery has an unmissable programme of exhibitions to enjoy this summer and here are the highlights. Some you’ll need to book tickets for so get in their quick, others you can just walk in and catch for free!
Metamorphosis
A celebration of four award-winning photographers and filmmakers undertaking ground-breaking work in their eco-conscious practice. With no need to pre-book, discover works by Almudena Romero, Edd Carr, Hannah and Fletcher and Scott Hunter, as they marry both the political and the poetic.

Beyond Fashion
A showcase of work by acclaimed fashion photographers from around the world and a powerful demonstration of how fashion photography has evolved from product promotion to its own visual language that seeks to push the boundaries of creativity. Divided into four sections (Allure, Fantasy, Realism and Surrealism), book tickets to see how the vision and creativity of artists including Nick Knight, Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi and Ellen von Unwerth amongst others, have taken this art form beyond simply a commercial device.

The RHS Botanical Art & Photography Show 2024
A curation of newly created botanical art and photography from around the world, showcasing a rich variety of subjects from medicinal desert flowers to ornamental bananas, as well as forest slime moulds and urban street plants. Each artist competes for a coveted RHS medal, judged for their aesthetic appeal, scientific accuracy and technical skill, and for the first time, the public can vote for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.

YOI
Featuring works by nine Munipi artists, from Melville Island’s north-western coastline, this free exhibition is a celebration of ‘yoi’, or dancing. The natural ochres participants use to paint their bodies in these narrative dances also adorn the canvases on display, and often applied with a Pwoja comb, the paintings possess a unique textural materiality, inherently abstract in form and thus free from a mimetic representation of reality.
