World Chelsea Bun Awards 2022

In celebration of World Chelsea Bun Day, Partridges are delighted to invite you to participate in the fourth annual World Chelsea Bun Awards.

The Chelsea Bun was first created in 1700 by Richard Hand, proprietor of The Old Chelsea Bun House, thought to have been located between Pimlico Green and Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea.

The World Chelsea Bun Awards are free to enter, all you need to do is share a photograph of your creation into one of three categories;

  • Children (Under 18)
  • Adults
  • Business Professionals

This year’s judges include actress, Lady Sophie Windsor, cake expert Jane Asher, a local Chelsea Pensioner and John Shepherd, owner of Partridges, all lovers of the Chelsea Bun and supporters of this year’s wonderful chosen charity, The Children’s Surgery Foundation.

All entrants are invited to make a donation to the charity whilst submitting their photographs, the deadline for which is no later than 5pm, Saturday 14 May 2022. The winners will then be announced during the week of Partridges 50th Birthday on Wednesday, 25 May 2022.

If you’d like to enter or interested in finding out more, visit the World Chelsea Bun Awards website here. Good luck!
